Being balanced, that’s what everybody wants, right? Providing intensive care requires a lot from the carer.
At Resorts Gate of Zeeland in Hellevoetsluis it is now possible to completely unwind
in a custom home.
The house stands on a plot of more than 300 m2 adjacent to a playground with playground equipment. The beach is 300 metres away from the house and can be reached by a paved path for wheelchair-goers within 10 minutes
The house itself has five bedrooms spread over two floors and is wheelchair accessible downstairs. You can park around the house.
The garden is closed and furnished with a reclining swing and several terraces.

The following facilities and facilities are present in the house:
- Two sanitary areas on the ground floor.
Sanitary room 1 features a toilet, shower and sink.
Sanitary room 2 is fully accessible and features a bathtub with shower stretcher, a shower room, a toilet with supports and a sink with tilting mirror. The thermostat button to set the underfloor heating is located in the snoezel bedroom
The following facilities for sanitary areas are also available: toilet booster and shower chair. - In this room is also the washing machine.
- Ceiling lift from sanitary area 2 to the custom bedroom
- On the ground floor there is a 9 m2 bedroom with an adjustable (high/low) bed and the possibility of using parrot. This room also has a ceiling lift.
- In addition, there is a smaller bedroom of 4 m2 with a bed of 1.20 x 2.00 m.
- On the upper floor there are two furnished bedrooms of 9 and 4 m2 respectively and a cosy play room with toy box on the void.
- The fully equipped open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave and oven. The kitchen is wheelchair friendly because the wheelchair-goer can use the sink with extended mixer and the adapted oven. A fold-out extended kitchen top at wheelchair height is provided.
- The ground floor is equipped with underfloor heating for the colder months of the year. In order to enjoy the summer months to the maximum, a sliding door with access to the enclosed garden has been installed over the entire width of the fully furnished living room.
- In the living room you will find a digital TV with Netflix.
- The enclosed garden has a reclining swing with its own lift system (is unique!) and charging system for electric bicycle or mobility scooter.
- There is also a go-kart.
- Extra amenities on request: trip stair chair, camping bed, baby bath, multifunctional cargo bike.
- And not entirely insignificant: WIFI is available in the home indefinitely.
- In the information folder that is in the house are the passwords for the WIFI, important phone numbers etc. instructions and information about the campsite and its surroundings. Also check the resort’s website for tips and advice for the area.
